Are you tired of the way you habitually pick up your phone and do a mindless tour of the apps?
Turn on the TV without thinking?
Lose track of an hour or more by clicking and swiping?
Self-sabotage by staying up later than you should because you can't pull yourself away from the screen?
Are there tasks, activities, and decisions that you keep putting off by pulling out a screen instead?
Are you the kind of person who longs for a deeper connection with yourself and your intuitive voice, but your media consumption keeps getting in the way?
You've had enough!
It's hard to alter your habits on your own, but deep down you know there is another creative part of you that longs for space, a voice that longs to be heard.
That's why we're doing this week-long media pause challenge. This could be exactly what you need right now.
It's a break not just from social media, but from the cacophony of external media voices you consume every day-- through radio, podcasts, newsletters, websites, TV, and even books.
Sunday May 5th- Friday May 10th: Follow your plan, checking in as needed through our community hub for support and inspiration.
Saturday May 11th: Optional solo culminating experience: Take a Threshold Walk (intuitive walk in Nature)
After spending the previous week allowing for space, it's the perfect time to take it one step further. This is a ceremonial intuitive wander in nature-- a profound connection with your creative voice, the natural world, and a greater life force.
Throughout this experience, you'll follow the spark of curiousity to find out:
Whether you are just beginning your journey towards sobriety or are already well along the path, you are welcome.
Most of us are so preoccupied with the noice, the uproar, the cacophony of the modern world that we have no energy left for constructive living.
We long to pause, to absorb into our day-to-day existence, some calmness, some inner order in which we can call our soul our own, in which we take time to experience some beauty, to know and enjoy our friends, and to let whatever creative impulses or visions we have to be heard, listened to, have their moment.
-- Rollo May, The Significance of the Pause
--Your vision, leadership, and overall awesomeness have helped me feel supported, seen, and capable on this step of my journey.
--Working with you was really eye opening for learning more tools to use in my day-to-day life. In my current state of mind, I was feeling out of sorts with stress, anxiety, bouts of possible relapsing. Your ability to listen to what I had going on in the moment and tailoring the coaching experience was really a profound experience.
-- Thank you so much for the way you give and share. Your words have given me such an anchor in this first year of sobriety.
--The essence of Naomi is one of calm and consciousness; to be in her presence is to feel a sensation of grounding. With her as your guide, there’s room to explore the tricky and the difficult, time and space to come to a place of more wholeness.
--You have such a gift and your insight and feedback were invaluable. I am already utilizing the skills I learned into my everyday. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
